It begins with a conversation and an authentic curiosity about you and your unique vision. We can meet up for coffee or schedule a venue visit to walk the space together exploring your ideas for how you imagine transforming the space to set the stage for your special celebration.

I will create a personalized proposal plan uniquely for you including inspiration photos and clear sensible pricing. You will immediately feel relaxed seeing a plan come together illuminating your favorite details.

We will continue to revise and refine your design until it is exactly what you have dreamed of. From vessel and votive selections to signage and seasonal flower varietals, we will curate the perfect look that expresses your style fully and authentically.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to do to prepare for our first meeting and to begin our planning our experience?

Gather 5-10 of your favorite inspiration photos either by creating a pinterest board or saving them from instagram. These will help guide our conversation and help us to visualize your unique look.

How soon should I begin planning my wedding flowers?

If you’ve booked a venue it’s a good idea to go ahead and book your vendors even if that’s a year in advance. Booking early will ensure you get to work with someone you personally connect with. If you’re planning a smaller gathering you have much more flexibility and time and we can create a beautiful design beginning about 3 months before the event.

What do I need to do on the day of the event? 

Absolutely nothing! Just show up and enjoy your special day. We will make sure we know your vision and take care of everything we’ve planned together from start to finish.

Will we see a sample of the arrangements before the wedding day?

We do offer sample meetings and these are usually held at the rental showroom where we can set the table with your selection of linens and place setting details. I will create your sample arrangements and you can view the entire uniquely curated look either in person or virtually. The charge for sample meeting is $250 to cover time and materials and should be scheduled about 4-6 weeks before your event.

Do you offer any rentals or decor other than flowers?

Yes! We inventory a beautiful variety of lanterns, votive candles, candle holders, table numbers, structures and props to create just the right look for you. We can also create custom signs and paper goods to enhance your overall design and inform your guests.

Will we meet in person? How many meetings are included in our experience with you. 

Absolutely, and bring the family! I love interacting with you face to face and getting to know you before your event. Generally we will meet for an initial consultation and then again at the venue for your site visit. If you desire additional meetings we can schedule those as needed. However, if you are not in the area and need to plan everything via email and phone we can do that easily as well.

Do you have a flower shop where we can come and see the flowers in person?

The nature of event floral design is a little different from the traditional brick and mortar flower shop. All designs are made to order in the design studio and the flowers are sourced depending on the season and events scheduled week to week. 

Where do you source your flowers from?

The San Francisco flower market is one of the most abundant sources of flower growers and purveyors in the country and we are so lucky to have such a bounty to choose from. Whenever possible we source the best seasonal materials from local growers.

What do I need to do to officially begin my experience with Angella Floral Design?

We are so excited to begin planning your floral dream! Let us know you are ready to move forward and we will send you a contract with deposit information and payment schedule. Once we have received your signed contract and deposit we are ready to embark on the adventure.
